The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) has been asked to take part in “Ask a Scientist Day” at the Museum on November 13, 2010 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The CCWA use of constructed treatment wetlands will be a part of a special exhibit currently on display at Fernbank Museum in Atlanta.

Members of the CCWA staff will be at the museum with samples of wetland animals and plant, information on CCWA’s use of constructed treatment wetlands, and demonstrating how wetlands naturally help purify our water.

The new Fernbank exhibit is called, “Water: H20= Life” and will be running until January 9, 2011. The exhibit is a family friendly and is a great way to learn more about life in water and how animals have adapted to live in a variety of water conditions. Attendees can test their water IQ, build a dam, and admire some pretty cool water creatures.
