Local Coach Honored by Atlanta Falcons

Congratulation to Coach Al Hughes of Lovejoy Highschool located in Hampton, Georgia! Coach Hughes was selected and recognized by the Atlanta Falcons as the Coach of the week.  The Lovejoy wildcats are 7-0 so far this year and are on their way to having their first undefeated season.

Due to Coach Hughes’s hard work and devotion to his team he received multiple gifts from the Falcons Club showing their gratitude to the Lovejoy football program. There will also be a banquet hosted by the Atlanta Falcons in honor of Coach Hughes in the near future.

The honor Coach Hughes received is part of the NFL’s Coach of the Week program. Every year the Atlanta Falcons honor high school football coaches who dedicate their time to working with young athletes and have made a difference in the community and school.
