Road to Tara Museum Offers More to Gone With the Wind Fans

"Gone with the wind"

The beloved Road to Tara Museum, which houses memorabilia from the famed movie Gone With the Wind, has announced two new donations.

The first donation is a 1940’s movie program from Gone With the Wind donated by Ms. Janet Kwiatkowski of New Jersey.  This program is identical to the original programs handed out at the premiere of the film on December 15, 1939. It features the cast list in order of appearance, cast biographies and excerpts from Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.  Ms. Kwiatkowsi chose to donate the special program on behalf of her mother after visiting the museum.

The other donation is a Duck Tour Diorama by One Rose Florist that took first place this year as the People’s Choice Award in the 2010 CASA Duck Tour. The ducks are imitations of Scarlett O’ Hara and Rhett Butler in a famous Gone With the Wind movie scene.

You can be sure to check out these new attractions, as well as much more memorabilia at the Road to Tara Museum located at 104 N. Main Street in Jonesboro.
